Are Boone’s Chews really 100% natural?
Yes. Our chews are naturally shed Texas whitetail deer antlers—no artificial additives, preservatives, or fillers.
What does “naturally shed” mean?
Deer naturally drop (shed) their antlers each year. We source shed antlers, which supports sustainable and ethical collection.
How do I choose the right size for my dog?
Choose based on your dog’s weight and chewing style. If your dog is an aggressive chewer or between sizes, size up for a safer, longer-lasting chew.
Whole vs. split antlers—what’s the difference?
Whole antlers are denser and typically last longer. Split antlers expose the marrow for easier access and are often a great choice for lighter chewers or dogs new to antlers.
Are antler chews safe for all dogs?
Most dogs do well with antlers, but supervision is important. Always choose the right size, remove small pieces, and avoid giving hard chews to dogs with dental issues or puppies with developing teeth. If you’re unsure, ask your veterinarian.
How long do antler chews last?
It depends on your dog’s chewing habits and the antler type. Many customers find antlers last significantly longer than typical chews—especially whole antlers.
